It seems that we cannot turn on the news or read the paper without finding out about some tragic event somewhere in our nation or around the world. Hurricanes, earthquakes, terrorist bombings or other catastrophe seem to be such an everyday occurrence that we don’t know where to start. How can we care for so many? St. Anthony’s Council has been helping in many of these events. We have made donations to the tsunami relief fund, hurricane relief fund, and various other local, state and national charities. Each year we help St. Anthony’s Parish distribute Thanksgiving and Christmas Food baskets to needy families in the area. And we have been asked by the NJ State K of C Council to help in the rebuilding of a We are asking for your generous support. I realize that this is an extremely hard time with the holidays approaching, but it is also difficult times for the needy as well. Any donation that you can make at this time would be greatly appreciated. And if you can’t make a big donation now but can give a couple of dollars each month, that would be wonderful. Checks can be made payable to: St. Anthony’s K of C 943 and mark in the memo “Funds for the Needy”. All donations to St. Anthony’s Knights of Columbus/Funds for the Needy are tax deductible.
